BMW USA website and Safari

Has anybody been there recently. On the schools eMacs with Safari 1.3.1/Panther, a pop up comes up and says that BMW just redid their website and that Mac users should use FireFox.

I gotta test it out though tonight on my iBook with Tiger and Safari 2.0.2 and see if they give that same pop up (which means I have to turn off the pop up blocker).

ever try using any microsoft website (expedia, hotmail) with safari? absolute disaster.

Hmm I get the same popup and I have Safari 2.0.1 on Tiger. It's odd that they do that since their site works flawlessly from what I can see. I mean the flash moves a little slow, but hey I'm on dialup so thats a given.

I don't get any kind of warning pop-up and I even tried it with "Block Pop-Up Windows" off. I'm on Tiger 10.4.3 with Safari 2.0.2.
