So reading that thread on the boardgame app that takes all classic boardgames onto the iPad. I got to thinking what games I'd like to see put on the iPad. So, try to keep the iBashing and the 'real boardgames' are better, out of the thread please.

Anyway, to start.

'The last night on earth' (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/29368/last-night-on-earth-the-zombie-game)

Conflict of Heroes (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/24800/conflict-of-heroes-awakening-the-bear-russia-194)

thats it for me! What do YOU wanna see?

Hive, Settlers of Catan, and Pandemic would be nice, among others.

catan is already on iphone btw.

Not sure. I'd like some 'proper' boardgames like the ones listed by macduke, but I'm wary of the small screen. I wouldn't want anything compromised by being on a computer, just something either enhanced or at least quicker to set up, and able to store states for longer games.

So probably nothing that needs a big board - so catan would be OK, but Carcassone would be tricky (haven't seen the Xbox version). Also card games might be tricky. Don't think its realistic to expect all players to have an iphone, so privacy would be an issue.

Something really simple like 'hey thats my fish' would be good.

I know. Hive is also. But high-resolution iPad versions with better layouts and interfaces would be nice.

I do like the idea of using iPhones and iPod Touches to view the cards in your hand, perhaps using coverflow to flip through and organize them. Most of the friends that my wife and I play with have iPhones, so that would be a neat addition. Either 99cents or free for the iPhone viewing app, $10-15 for the board on the iPad. Perfect.

It would be great if we could play a multiplayer version of Settlers of Catan or Carcassonne. Those two are my favourite boardgames so far :)

Sorry or Monopoly would be fun, especially if we were travelling and the kids were in the backseat. Boardgames are very hard to play in the car and the travel ones are just as bed, especially if you start to loose the pieces.

iPad board games would be sweet!

Not exactly board games, but I would like to see Games Workshop port some of their tabletop games to the iPad. Personally, I'm partial to skirmish level games, like Nercomunda, and think they would fit the smaller screen of an iPad better than the larger war-games, like Warhammer.

I'd love to see Sorry and Monopoly too! :D

Also I'll add The Game of Life to that.
