Bodyguardz and my Bezel!

I'm just wondering, for those of you who have the bodyguardz on your phone, will it cover previous scratches to my bezel?

I got my phone two days ago, and it is in a clear case but there are a few tiny tiny scratches (and i mean really tiny. I don't know if anyone else notices them other than me ). When my bodyguards comes in in a week or two, will it hide any scratches that used to be on my bezel? Will the skin kind of cover them up so they are no longer noticible?

I use BestSkinsEver on mine and I can tell you that any scratches you have now are going to be visible.

Looks like I'm leaving it sealed in the box it came in until my bodyguardz comes in.

10 days without it > 3 years with it scratched.

Sounds like your going to have a long three years as it is. Don't forget about drops, spills and just water damage in general. If your that worried you should get some squaretrade insurance.

Its a phone. There's precautions to protecting your investment. Then there's going overboard.

hmm, get bodyguardz for scratch proof, and then get a speck case at att, preferably the black one, its like rubber and plastic, and thats shock proof, and its supposed to keep dust and dirt out, and there u go, ur scratch proof, and shock proof. its a great investment.

They will not make your phone completely new again, however I use it on my phone and it does enhance the look and feel of it. BodyGuardz = Great choice!

I use BestSkinsEver (very similar to BodyGuardz, Zagg, etc.). I started using skins after I got my first warranty-replacement iPhone 3G last year (defective dock connector port). I found that the original phone's plastic scratched up faster than I hoped it would despite me babying it, so I determined that from that day forth I would never start using a phone before I put a skin on it.

I have kept that resolution through one other 3G warranty replacement (bad accelerometer) and my new 3GS that I bought in July. I have found that after about 6 months or so, the skin will start to look the worse for wear (corners start lifting up and such), so I get a new skin and peel the old one off. Whenever I do that, I marvel at how the phone really does look brand new, like I just took it out of the box for the first time. Not a scratch on the thing. It's a beautiful sight.

It's well worth the investment, and it's also well worth waiting a few days for your skin to arrive before using the phone.

P.S. -- I also prefer to use my phone "naked," which is why I went with the skin instead of a case or whatnot.
