This ROX -- about the only time I would ever need 3G is at airports, and while Boingo isn't at every airport it is available at many of them.

I just signed up for the credits program -- at $19.95 for 12 hours I should be covered for a full year for:) the kind of usage I would have been paying ATT $15 a month for -- and at WiFi rathe than 3G speeds!

I am very happy now!

If you add up the options such as free WIFI at Mcdonalds Free WIFI with card at Starbucks and cheap WIFI from Boingo for airports you do have an argument that you can get by with just WIFI for 75% of the time. But you do have to give up GPS. Tough call..

Yeah, I can manage wireless (for my iPad) on my own without AT&T ;)

I see a lot of numbered WIFI points all over , even in the country such as 2wire 123. I can't connect but if these are ATT DSL WIFI points that I could access then it starts to get interesting. I looked up 2wire and they are connected to ATT so if this is the free WIFI they give you it's a better deal than just Starbucks and Mcdonalds..

I think it's cool the Las Vegas Convention Center is included and some of the hotels where you'd have to pay.

Last time i checked into it for my Touch, i never was anywhere they had spots... which is why i went with the 3G iPad! LOL!!

I keep trying to make it work, it just isn't happening for me.
