Boinx Fotomagico 2 Banding Issue

I'm using Boinx Software's Fotomagico 2 to create a quick slideshow and am experiencing gradient banding in all imported photos. I have tried importing them as both jpegs and tifs and get the banding with any set of photos I import. Does anyone here who uses this program know what's happening? I've tried creating a quick slideshow in iPhoto and iMovie but get the "iMovie jaggies" after sending everything to iDVD. Below is a screenshot for FotoMagico 2.

Hi aricher,

have you shrunk your files by decreasing the resolution? that is weird. i haven't seen it yet in FM.

Have you tried their tech support? I contacted them about how long it takes to export into a .mov (very, very long time btw! good quality though and their support got back to w/n 24 hours.

Yes I tried decreasing resolution as well as contacting tech support - no answer yet from them. It happens with every photo I put in there for 72 dpi up to very high res shots - strange.
