Hello all,
I picked up a perfectly good iMac 233 ( I believe Rev B since it has a 10-98 made date ) at a garage sale this weekend for $25.
I have done a couple of upgrades with parts laying around the house ( 80 GB Hard Disc, Slot load DVD Burner ). I plan on putting Yellow Dog Linux on it. The one thing that has me a bit confused is the way the thing takes memory. It looks like it has two slots, one which takes a standard NoteBook SO-DIMM, the other looks a it more proprietary.
I was wondering if anyone had tips and advice to update the memory on this beast. I would like to take it to 256, and LOVE to take it to 512 MB.
Any tips and advice would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Max.
