Hello.

This question has probaly already been asked in the past but,

Will OSX work well in a 160mb Bondi Blue iMac?
Well enough to make it worth installing?

Cheers,
Matthew

I guess its the megahertz that matters. Get at least around 300 to be satisfied. Jaguar and better should do well then.

Your processor is up to the task, but cram as much memory as possible into it and don't expect it to do much more than the basics. My mom has a strawberry iMac (333mhz, 288MB) that is running Jaguar. It's a good email/web/word processing machine. The OS is a little sluggish but it's acceptable. Panther is supposed to be a little snappier--we'll see.

Panther runs really well on my 350 MHZ B&W G3 -- much faster than previous versions. I would suggest maxing out that memory too, though...
