When opened Safari Bookmarks hundreds randomly now listed on top favorites list. Super-slow doing anything.
When I click on "Edit Bookmarks" it slowly opens with the beach ball spinning and on my Bookmarks bar it shows list of files with individual bookmarks taken from files and listed on tip. At the end of the file list there are hundreds of individual bookmarks listed and unfixed.
Tried removing .plist to desktop and re-opening Safari. No help.
Guessing .plist is corrupted but don't know how to fix.
My external hard drive where I stored backup recently stopped working tool. I use iCloud, OneDrive and google drive.
This happened a year ago and I installed Bookmarks One but that app didn't help. Had to delete hundreds. Very painful.
It happened again this week and I don't want to lose all of these important bookmarks.
