For some reason my book marks on my iphone and ipad are completely screwed up. There are doubles and triples of the same folders.

Safari on Lion is fine all the bookmarks are there and ok. no double ups
anyone know how to reset the bookmark file on icloud. Like you used to be able to on mobileme?

I'd like to know as well, if you find out how to fix this.
It's the same for me - no duplicates in Safari (there used to be, but in Safari I could delete all the thousands of duplicates fairly easy) and OSX syncs via iCloud to iOS on my iPhone and iPad. However on the iOS-devices I still have several thousand copies of the same folders "BookmarksBar", "BookmarksMenu" and so on and so forth.
I know the syncing works cause if I add a link to my reading list through my mac it shows up on the reading list on my iPhone. But then WHY doesn't the duplicates disappear on the iPhone when it's gone on the mac?

This is SO strange. My problem was just fixed. I've been trying everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - back and forth through all the time when iCloud has been part of the dev-iOS5 and also tried everything AGAIN several times since iOS was publicly released two days ago. But now I turned iCloud Bookmarks off on my iPhone (changed nothing else), went into Safari to check if Bookmarks was empty (it was), then went back to settings and turned iCloud Bookmarks on again, then back to Safari and checked Bookmarks and now it was back but with no duplicates!
I swear I've done this several times before, but now it worked.
