Since using the patcher to install Catalina on my unsupported Mac, the Books app hasn't been acting properly.

I've been able to access video files and photos in various apps, but all the epubs I had before seem like they have vanished.

There's an error message for one of the frameworks, and I'm convinced that's the heart of the issue. I cannot add new PDFs to my library, or even read existing ones. Is anyone having a similar issue, or familiar with a fix? Any advice would be appreciated.

I have issues with Books. I can see the thumbnail of the ePub, try loading it, and then eventually it either does nothing or errors out. If I wait long enough, I right click>download>wait a few minutes. Then try double clicking and loading it. Then when reading the book, there are times when it exits me out of the book, and the book is vanished in my library. Then it appears, then I rinse and repeat the right click>download process.

Bit of a hot mess right now. I suspect it's iCloud.

At least I'm not the only one. I just know there's no way in hell I'm mucking about with Terminal to try and fix it without pro advice
