Hi,

I am in the middle of reading Apple Confidential, the 1st edition in 1999. Probably 1/3 of the way through it.

I saw that there is an Apple Confidential 2.0 that came out around 2004 or 2005, and that it contains 60 pages of new material (click on the Contents link here - http://www.appleconfidential.com/)

Is that new material appended to the old book (i.e., covering 1999-2005)? Or is all the new material scattered throughout the book to where it would be better for me to stop reading the 1st edition and start reading the 2nd edition from the beginning?

Thanks.

On the page it says:

This substantially revised second edition contains over 60 pages of new material, including several completely new or greatly revised chapters, as well as hundreds of fresh photos, illustrations, quotes, and timelines.

So it looks like some new, some revised. I'd just finish what you have.

I must have missed that part of the sentence in my quick glance. Thanks.

This does seem to be one of the better books on Apple (some say the best -- I am not sure since I have read too many). Maybe I should just buy 2.0 from Amazon or something.
