I have a Windows machine that had a component failure (GPU), and seeing as the entire Windows drive is contained on a single SSD (which I can slot into one of my external USB cases) I was wondering if it would be possible for me to plug that into an iMac and boot it somehow as a Windows 'partition'?

I'm assuming the issue here would be that until Bootcamp sets up its drivers on the drive, it won't be recognized by my machine. If so, is there a way to do that (install the drivers or what have you) short of completely wiping and re-installing Windows through Bootcamp on that SSD?

Thanks
