I know Snow Leopard's upgrade sucks eggs. I used system restore to go back to 10.5.8 to make everything work again.

Now I've given the Boot Camp 3 drivers a chance. In the process of upgrading, my Windows XP's option for sleep was disabled. That seriously sucks eggs. So I'm back to restoring myself back to Boot Camp 2.1 drivers. Good Lord, can Snow Leopard and it's software get any worse? :D

Anybody else fustrated with the whole package?

Just because you might have had a bad experience doesn't mean that 10.6 is a shoddy OS. I have have a great experience with both 10.6 and the bootcamp drivers. It is great to finally have 2 finger scroll work without being hyper sensitive in Windows.

Couldn't you just stay with the old drivers if they worked?

That's what I did. The sleep option is back. Sorry guys, but this is one of the poorest OS's Apple has put out and it's accompanying software.

I've had very few probs with SL so far thankfully, but the Boot Camp drivers are still sucky.

The backlit keyboard *still* stays lit in XP, boooo!, but now it's acts a bit temperamental with regards to enabling/disabling the function keys as standard buttons. After sleep you often have to check and uncheck the box in boot camp control panel to get it working correctly.

Not really a biggy as I only use XP for games, just a bit annoying. That you STILL can't fully disable the backlit keyboard in XP is pretty pathetic though!
