What will happen to my current windows installation with boot camp when new versions of boot camp are released (i.e., when it comes out of beta)?
Hiya
You will still be able to boot your into your bootcamp windows installation when Leopard is finally released. The "boot camp assistant" application will most likely stop working (when you install it you agree to the license expiring at the end of September) and so you won't be able to create new bootcamp partitions, driver disks and maybe even delete your bootcamp partition (although you could still use a 3rd party partitioning tool to do that), however you can still boot into Windows as you do at the moment.
I would expect you can just update your drivers for the Mac bits in Windows (iSight etc!) once bootcamp comes out of beta. That's been the case for every upgrade so far, and I wouldn't think Apple would expect everyone to have to reinstall windows... unless they add some amazing new feature that is worth reinstalling for
.
