All,

When using boot camp, I get to the windows installer screen, and it say please insert your Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate. It does not list Vista or XP as a choice. When inserting the Vista installation disk. it spins for a few seconds, and then is ejected. I get the same message as above.

The only thing I can figure out is while I was installing a demo Parallels I walked away from the computer, and one of the grand kids chose windows 7.

This completely hosed up everything, as I could not go back and change to Vista.

When reinstalling Parallels it was insistent on Windows 7, with no way of changing.

iMac
4 gb ram
OSX 10.6.7, and have installed the Apples combo update 10.6.7. All software is up to date.

Any help?

Thanks,

Lee

Which is it? Boot Camp or Parallels? It sounds like it's Parallels, but you say it's Boot Camp. If it's Parallels, just cancel, delete the virtual machine (which you haven't really created yet) and start over.
