I updated windows vista ultimate. The boot camp no longer works. Tried updating boot camp, also doesn't work. What can I do to get boot camp back?

So had an existing Boot Camp installation with Vista Ultimate installed and you applied some Windows updates? And if so, what updates? And did you install them via Windows Update?

Yes, I update via windows update. Then it says bootcamp is no longer working and when a solution to the problem is found, it will notify me. The bootcamp icon in the tray also is not there. Tried updating to bootcamp 2.1, but can't. If there is no bootcamp on windows, would it be a problem?

Can you manually start Windows by rebooting the Mac while holding down the Option key and then choosing the Boot Camp partition?

Yes, I can boot windows. Everytime I do it tells me that bootcamp is not working, but I have not notice anything wrong with windows. Everything seems to work fine. The bootcamp icon in the tray is gone too. do I need to worry that it does this.

If nothing is wrong, then this is probably just a bug or something.
