Has there been any discussion or rumors that BootCamp, the utility that allows us to install Windows on our Macs, may not always be supported by Apple? In other words, in the future Apple may decide to drop support for it? I've kinda gotten used to not relying on two computers and don't want to go back to keeping a PC updated.
Thanks!

I dont think they will drop support any time soon. Since the reason many people buy a mac is because they want to run windows as well but not as their primary os. So the awnser is no they wont discontinue boot camp. And if they will theres allway grup. So really no reason to worry in any way

Even if they did drop support, what's stopping you from manually creating a Partition, installing windows and then manually downloading and installing the device drivers?

All bootcamp does is make it easier.
