Boot Camp help!

I have just tried to partion my drive for... xp. But I thought i had messed up my system when for about 2 mins, the dreaded spinning wheel came up. Then finally it disappeared and said something along the lines of: Boot Camp could not partion the hard drive as it could not be verified. What does this mean and what can I do to fix it? Thanks!

Boot from your OS X DVD and run Disk Utility (it's in the Utilities menu, if I recall correctly). On the First Aid tab, select Repair Disk.

I have just tried this. I start from my included Mac OS X disc, go to disk utility and in the sidebar, I click on MacBook (changed it from Macintosh HD). Then I go to first aid and click on repair disk. It does this and when the little status bar gets to the end, it all goes blue (the bar) and just says repairing yet when I look above at what is going on, in green writing it says repairing disk. I wait for two or three minutes and it just stays like that and I can even hear that the Mac OS X disc is bearly been spun. So all I do is click stop and then it comes up with something saying one thing could not be repaired. So I just turn my MacBook off and start up as normal, and Boot Camp still does not work. What am I to do?

I would think you need to give it longer than three minutes to examine and repair any problems with your HD. Let it do its job...if it still is trying to repair after an hour, then stop it and take it to your nearest Apple certified repair depot.
