As a college student I have access to MSDN which provides free downloads of Windows XP SP3. I have downloaded the .iso file and stored it on the shared documents folder of my windows PC. I have my mac on the same network and have access to this folder. During Boot Camp installation the instructions have be inserting the XP CD but I have no means (that I know of) of burning the file onto a CD to use. If anyone has any advice on how to use the pre-downloaded .iso fil with Boot Camp or know of an easy way to get this file onto a usable DVD please let me know. Thank you.

Think we're good

It was the software to burn the image to a disk that I was lacking but I'm in the process of burning it using Disc Utility. Thank you for the advice and I think I'm good now.

Hey, I've burnt my ISO with disk utility as well, but this does not appear to have worked because i'm given a "no bootable devices" message when I start the installation process with the burnt CD in my drive!

Im having the same exact problem. How did you burn it using disk utility?

In Disk Utility, go to Images > Burn (or press Burn on the toolbar) and navigate to the ISO image. I'm on Tiger and it may be in a slightly different place on Leopard.

You could just have a non-bootable ISO, either because you downloaded it from somewhere nefarious, or as in one previous case here the ISO provided by the school was not bootable.

Try booting from it on a PC and see if there is really something wrong with the disc.
