As the title says, I have a macbok, with bootcamp 1.1.2 installed, two finger scroll works, right click does not (ctrl+click, or two finger). Help please.

Also, tap click does not work

In the same situation - have 1.1.2 C2D MBP, but no right-click joy in Windows - have been told that Fn+click or right-ctrl+click = right click, but doesn't seem to be happening. It works OK with my bluetooth mighty mouse, but can't get the trackpad happening.

I also find that windows or perhaps just the mouse seems to freeze up for a few seconds now and then....think there is a graphics driver problem perhaps. Annoying during games or even general use.

Try "Under Boot Camp beta 1.1.1 you can right click in XP if you hold down the right Apple key and then click"

and I can report it works for me...yay.

i just figured something out (after reading the readme...go figure). right clicking on notebooks is only supported by keeping two fingers on the trackpad and clicking. cant use CTRL (yet, i guess).

scrolling seems to be pretty temperamental using the trackpad. hopefully that will get worked out later on.

Same here but everything is working so it doesn't bother me.
Did you try the right-click method I posted?

yeah, doesnt work for me. ive only got an alt and option on the left side of my mpb 15".

for two finger scrolling, i find that keeping the right finger stationary and moving the left one up and down works best. in os x, you can move them both at once and it still works. just one more reason os x is a better system.

It isn't the alt/option key...it's the apple key to the right of the spacebar key, hold that down and with the click pushed...gives you a right-click menu.

us, two finger scrolling actually DOES work, at least for me, on MBP wth BC v1.1.2. Perhaps it's because I'm not biased against XP and it's intelligent enough to detect that and respond accordingly? ;-)

Can we PLEASE stop with the "Mac OS is better" noise? Everyone has an opinion -- just like a nose -- but we don't have to get into yours even tough you have picked it for whatever reason you have chosen to do so.

As Joe Friday might have said it: "Just the facts, maam".

you have to be joking, the two finger scrolling is so much better on mac, OK??? it's not biased its fact. On windows, it get very jumpy and you is not as fluid.

Are you using the right APPLE key and a click? It also works with two fingers on the trackpad and a click.

Odd solution

I had the same problem as a few others here, couldn't right click with the 2 finger click feature on the trackpad, despite having that feature selected and applied through the Boot Camp Control Panel in XP.

For the MacBook Pro trackpad:

1) "Tap to click" will NOT work for a right click on the trackpad; you must depress the the pad fully for a mechanical click.

2) For reasons that are far beyond my ability to discern, you can reliably get a right click by holding not 2 but 3 fingers on the track pad while giving it a mechanical click.

Don't ask me why this works, but it does.

yea 3 fingers for a right click, kinda sucks when playing games like CoD, I hope they update it for 2 fingers = right click or use the bottom right....
