I have MacDrive installed on my boot camp partition to access my Mac HD partition. I'm just wondering if features like the Windows Recycling Bin and System Restore, both of which require you to allocate a portion of the Mac HD to will compromise the file system on the Mac partition.
Related to that, I also have Nortons Systemworks 2005 installed and it also sets aside some space on hard drives for a Protected Recycling Bin. When I use Win Doctor to check the registry it also checks scans the Mac HD since my Windows programs open files stored on the Mac HD. I was planning on only installing programs on the Windows partition and keeping all documents on the Mac HD, but is there a risk that this will compromise Mac OS X?
