Alright, so I got a 400GB 5400RPM internal HDD for my MacBook :), and so I installed XP for gaming (CSS, COD4) and for doing some other things.

Now, when I go back into Mac OS X, I do not see my Boot Camp partition.

How come? I used to be able to see it all the time no problem.

Thanks in advance.

Try going into Disk Utility and mount it again. Sometimes mine seems to unmount for some reason and so disappears from the desktop - remounting it seems to fix it again.

Hmm... I tried that but it said it could not be mounted and to run some first aid thing. Not sure where that is.

Any other suggestions guys?

I can access my NFS+ partition on windows using a program, but I spend most of my time in Mac OS X.

I can't even verify it... I never had problems before, started happening when I installed my 400GB Scorpio Blue.

You don't need to verify it. Just select the partition that has Leopard on it (most likely it's called Macintosh HD) and hit 'repair permissions'.

When you installed WinXP did you format the partition to NTFS or FAT32? If its NTFS, you won't see it as Leopard doesn't natively support NTFS. If you want to be able to access it, you will need to get a 3rd party app or driver (NTFS3G is what I use).

Personally, if you don't mind taking the extra time, I would suggest formatting the partition to FAT32 and reinstalling WinXP.

Both are greyed out. I figured if I tried to verify it, it would let me repair it.

Why would I partition it as FAT32? That limits my file size to like 4.xGB. Also, I was able to access my partition no problem prior to installing my new 400GB HDD.

If you are just using your BootCamp partition to play games, why do you need support for files over 4GB?

Also, you sure it was a NTFS partition on your old HD?

I am 100% sure because I have always partitioned my drive Windows computers at NTFS just incase because I am aware of the restrictions of FAT32.

Also, I said I play games and do other things, not just games.
