Extending the virtual hard drive for Boot camp Partition

First start the Paralels Desktop.
Clik on Hard Disk 1 in the configuration window and then the next page will show hard disk options . there you can select the "Use BootCamp" and then clik on recreate button. Its all downhill from there. Enter the size of harddrive you want and it will be recreated. You can also select FAT32 or NTFS. I would sugest NTFS Of course you will lose any info you have on the virtual harddrive because you are increasing it in size. Save it prior to doing this operation. I just increased mine from 8 gig to 20 gig. Your OS X hardrive is unaffected by the change , except that you give up some empty space to the virtual harddrive. So make sure you have enough to spare

Hope that helps.

He probably means back up all your important stuff to a external
then re-format.If you just have bootcamp then there's software
available that will let you re-format without loosing data, for
windows it partition magic, but the Mac version escapes me at
the moment,im sure someone else will know it

Boot Camp Partition Question

If you are running OS X and the BETA WITH XP then it will only erase the XP partition and recreate it. Your OS X will stay the same. If you are only running XP on the Beta then go ahead and save your stuff on an external drive and then you can put it back on once its done. Hope you the best.
