Boot Camp PC Games?

ok, lets say i download vista or windows 7 when it comes out, and i install it with boot camp in my new imac 24''
will i be able to install and run non mac games?
like normal pc games and have then run just in bootcamp?
thats really my only motivation for using windows

and if so how much hdd space would vista or windows 7 take up on my comp?

yes. installing windows thru boot camp is no different than installing windows on a PC. your games will run fine.
for both vista and 7, the recommended system requirements are
40 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space

I personally recommend nothing less than 75 GB for the windows partition.

Especially if you are going to be running several of the newer games that each take up 5GB of space.... I allocated 100GB for my XP partition and it is over 50% full, most of it from games...

Yeah Half life 2 and Left for dead are like 4GB each. COD4 is i think about 4 or 5 gb.

It's scary how games out getting so huge. With all the cool graphics and sounds / music / cut scene videos there putting in. I rember back in the days of windows 95 they were like 200MB in size.

200 MB for a game when W95 was out was huge.
most of mine were 6MB-10MB. Atomic Bomberman was the largest

I had issues fitting all of my PC games onto my windows partition, so I just bought an external drive to put them all on and run from. Even though it's USB, there is little to no slowdown on loading times, and no difference in gameplay. Just make sure the external is of high quality since it will be under stress quite often, if you decide to take that route

Bioshock is almost 6GB

That's nothing. Test Drive Unlimited is 8GB, Crysis is 12GB and GTA IV is a frankly insane 18GB. That's too much I think. In fact, it put me off buying the game. That and the fact I was certain I wouldn't play it enough...

Well you can play just about any games on the market right now.. just a concern on how much you partion windows

I have 25 GB allocated to my XP partition ^^

Its enough for 2-3 games (Currently: UT3, KOTOR2)

I have around 31 GB on my Windows. Have 3 games on it, 20 GB available.
