So i finaaaally got my new 15" mbp and i'm really amped on getting windows on there so i can game. I just have a few questions on the matter

- How much should i partition (i figured 32 gb is cool since its a 160 hd)
- NTFS or FAT (i will mostly be using this partition for games, however fat is more compatible to apple journaled. Does it really make a difference?)
- Is it really necessary to have an XP w/ service pack 2 already included? (can i just install, connect to the internet via landline and upgrade that way?)

any other comments or things i should look out for would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

If you plan on using Parallels or VMFusion then its necessary that you use NTFS.

Yes, it necessary to have SP2 included on your XP install disc, if you dont you'll run into problems installing the drivers from the Mac Windows Drivers disc. (i found this out first hand, took me a couple times to find out i had an SP1 disc)

the 32gb depends on you, XP takes about 3-4 gigs, then take into account how much HD space your games take up and how many games you have and determine if 32gb is large/small enough.

why can't you upgrade to sp2 after it is installed without using the wireless?

they have problems seeing the partition (im not too clear on the specifics) and would pretty much require you to install another instance of windows. If you search the parallels or fusion forums you'll see a lot of people asking for a fix for it.
