Boot Camp Problems

Ok, so this is my first time making a post here on Macrumors, with that formality out of the way, I'm having issues using Boot Camp.

I get the most common error, "the disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved." I have attempted to use disk utility via the Mac OS X Install DVD, I have attempted iDefrag, and a couple of other things.

To NO avail, I have not succeeded with anything. Is my best be to just "reformat" my computer?

If this helps at all, it won't let me actually run a full defrag, it's only allowing me to do an on-line defrag.

You probably have a few files that are too large to allow proper defragmentation.

Try Omni Disk Sweeper

It will scan your hard drive and show you the results sorted by biggest folders and files first, allowing you to find the culprit. Use at your own risk.

How full is your hard drive? That may be the problem.
