I'm installing Windows with Bootcamp right now. Following instructions, all went OK, the windows partition was created and the Mac restarted but did not automatically go into the next phase. I just got a black screen with flashing cursor top left. The Windows CD was in the drive, the flash drive with drivers was also connected.
I manually restarted and was told 'no bootable device - insert boot disc and press any key' I did this twice but nothing happens. I restarted holding 'alt' and was given all the options to boot inc' the windows CD in the drive. I selected the usual SSD to confirm if 'Bootcamp' was in Finder which it is. I restarted again and selected the Windows CD to boot with, but got the black screen with ' CD Boot - can't find boot manager'
I'm not sure what the problem is so hopefully you guys will sort this out. At start-up I can select from the: SSD (default boot), Mac HD2 (my second drive), Recovery, the Windows CD, and 'EFI Boot'.
Thanks.
