Boot Camp: Windows 7 Installation Error

I am trying to install Win 7 through Boot Camp, everytime it gets to installing at 1% I get an error message. Windows cannot installed required files. Files missing or Corrupt 0x80070570.

What I've tried:
- Using 32 Bit instead of 64 Bit Windows
- Burning both at low speeds (Disk Utilities and IMGBurn)
- Tried installing XP then doing an upgrade to Win 7, but only have XP Upgrade and eject key doesn't work during installation when prompted for older version verification.

Anyone experinced or heard of this before or have any suggestions?

Have you been reformatting the Windows partition before attempting to install Windows 7?

I've been having the same issue, i've been trying for the last 3 days and no luck.

have burned the ISO with UltraISO, Magic ISO, windows image burner, IMGBurn at different speeds, even burned an ISO from the iMac itself and same error.

32bits, 64bits, no luck.

I think your ISO is corrupted. Try re downloading the Beta RC1.

Try using Parallels or VMware just to test somethings out.

After Boot Camp Assistant the drive is formated in MS-DOS, once booted into CD I click the format and it formats it says, but not sure takes like 20 secs max and seem odd that it doesn't give NTFS or any options for formating.
After that installing stops at 1% with that error message.

VMware Fusion with the same disk works flawless.

I've tried 3 different .ISO's (Windows Versions), All download from Microsoft.
Still same issue.

I've ruled out that the batch of DVD's are bad cause they work in VM.

Maybe its my iMac? No evidence to suggest that, but only variable I can think of at the moment.

well, it fails to install in VMWare too, so re-downloading now and see what happens.

Question: is there any OS X software to edit the ISO and keep it bootable?

Could just be Boot Camp, this is really strange.

So it doesn't give your an option to format it at NTFS? Then that is your problem. What options does it give you to format?

So VMware works that is a good sign. Try using your Boot Camp Partition on VMware. It could be your Partition that is causing you the problem.

Only thing is says is that partition needs to be in NTFS format to be installed, so I click format and it tells me all the files will be lost blah blah blah and I click Ok to continue. 10 seconds later install starts then stops at 1%.

I just took a look back in Disk Utility and its saying the partition is in NTFS. So its formatting it in NTFS.

You are right, this is strange. I'mma try installing on Boot Camp with Fusion.

Sorry to resurrect dead thread, but wanted to give an update. Everything is up and working now. Did a little more research on the error I was getting and discovered possibly could be the DVD's I was using even though they worked flawless on VMWare and Paralells. Tried some Sony and it went smoothly first try. Was using HP DVD's I picked up on clearance for 2 bucks. 3 weeks later, all is well and moral is don't buy cheap @$$ DVD's.
