If you buy bootcamp not pre installed is it a pain to do it yourself? I've heard partitioning the hard drives can be tricky.

Bootcamp does not come preinstalled. You have to download it and install it yourself. Also as it beta, you will not get much support from Apple.

Also I wanted to mention that Bootcamp is free.

If you go to macmall they pre install windows for you. I just wanted to know that if i didnt get it from there, would it be hard to install windows and boot camp and partition the hard drive myself?

Looks like they are charging $150 after rebate to install it. If I didn't have an extra copy of Windows, I would probably go for it. Make sure they give you the windows disks also. If they don't then they are probably installing an illegal copy of windows on multiple machines.

I have the windows disks. Would it be easier if i just ordered from apple site and install boot camp myself?

It's fairly easy to install Windows yourself with Boot Camp. I wouldn't pay extra for it to be done for me.
