Hi, as per the title. The boot and log in screen are really low resolution and can't seem to find any way to resolve this. Tried reinstalling Mac OS via Recovery and no joy. Tried VRAM reset but no joy. Can't seem to do a PRAM reset, Mac just boots as normal.

A contributing factor may be I'm running an aftermarket GPU and have removed the MPx unit?

Once I'm logged in, all is well but its irritating me on the screens before this.

Monitor is a Samsung G60. I was using a Thunderbolt Display before this with no issues.

Any help is appreciated

Sounds pretty normal...
You get nothing more than default video drivers before login, particularly noticeable on a non-Apple display.
