Hi,

I just received a Mac Mini for testing purposes next to my normal workstation. I have connected it to the screen of my workstation which allows a secondary device to be connected.

I have set up Synergy on my windows workstation (server) and on the Mac Mini (client) and this works quite well and I let it automatically connect to my workstation using a cronjob.

However, when I reboot the Mac Mini without keyboard and mouse attached OSX keeps searching for a keyboard and a mouse. Obviously I don't want to connect a keyboard and mouse as I use synergy for that purpose.

Is there a way to turn off this searching for mouse and keyboard?

Thanks!

Nobody knows how to turn off that OSX will keep searching for a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard when nog normal mouse/keyboard are connected?

Is "Open Bluetooth Setup Assistant at startup when no input device is present" checked in System Preferences -> Bluetooth -> Settings?

If so, is it better with that turned off...?
