This question has probably been answered 3000 times, but I did look for answer before posting..

I happen to have an extra external HD and a version of snow leopard that im not using on any computer. My brothers and sisters use a very slow pc and I was wondering if it were possible for me to instal Mac OS X on that external HD and then connect it to their PC so they could boot from it everytime they turn on their computer.. So can anyone tell me if this procedure is possible? If so is there a tutorial of some sort?

Thanking you in advance,
Matt

You can boot Snow Leopard from an external drive, but only with an Apple computer or a hacked PC.

You could look into the Hackintosh route if you want.

Use MRoogle for lots and lots of threads about this.
