boot problems with Vista/bootcamp

I installed Vista Business, bootcamp drivers, all necessary updates, etc. Since then, every time I reboot from Vista to Leopard, it stalls on the loading menu for 6-8 minutes, and when I finally get to the desktop the clock has been set back 7 hours. This also happens about 30% of the time when restarting from Leopard to Leopard. I spoke with Applecare, and they basically won't help me because they claim the problem is with Windows.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem is, or how to possibly fix it?

This is a known issue in the boot loader of Windows, the hardware, and Leopard. I get it all the time with mine. There is really nothing you can do about it unless you go down to the kernel or even hardware.

Can you elaborate on this a little? I spent some more time on the phone with Applecare, and they suggested there might be something wrong with my boot EFI. Since I'm covered by Applecare, I can have that replaced.

Common issue. I managed to 'fix' mine by changing my time zone in OS X. Since I live in the GMT +8 timezone, OS X automatically adds 8 hours to my time every time I switch between Windows and OS X. I simply changed my time zone in OS X to GMT so it won't fiddle with my time.

I was actually able to fix the time zone issue by resetting to default and then re-selecting my time zone. The bigger problem is the stall during boot-up.
