Although not specific to just the iMac, I wondered if anyone could offer some assistance. I've had my wonderful machine with no problems at all for 15 stress free months. Now, one of the bonuses of having mac was the start up and shut down speeds. In these 15 months I've never done any form of nursing for the HD like you would with Wimdows (disk fragmentation etc). Can anyone suggest some simple tasks to restore to a similar state??
