iTunes wouldn't recognize my iPod today, for some strange reason. I was running Parallels earlier, which decided to take control of my iPod (which I didn't want it to do, so I disconnected it using the Parallels interface). Since nothing I tried worked, I restarted. My MBP then was stuck at the gray screen, not booting. The iPod was connected, with the Do Not Disconnect logo showing. Guessing that the Mac was waiting for the iPod to reset, I disconnected the iPod from the computer. That got the MBP to boot, and, upon reconnecting, iTunes for Mac recognized the iPod as it normally does.

Anyone had similar experiences, or know why this happened?
