bootcamp 1.2 vs bootcamp 1.3

I ran 3dmark05 in 1.2 and got a score of about 7200 (exact score was posted somewhere). Today, I ran it again and got 6800 with bootcamp 1.3 this time. It could be a fluke, but does anyone think the different drivers degrade performance? Maybe the apple ones scale back the clock speed but the 1.2 w/o apple didn't.
