Hello there

I'd like to use Windows on my Mac to play FF7 via an emulator. I was told to use Bootcamp and create a partition for Windows 10.

If I understand correctly, I need to create a partition for Windows.

After I am done, can I come back to where I was? Is it possible to delete the partition and make it "MacOS compatible" again?

I am using Mojave.

Boot Camp Assistant.app will do mostly everything for you - It will automatically shrink the macOS partition to make room for a Windows partition, then it will boot your Windows Installer (follow the instructions for getting that), then you install Windows to the new partition.

Once you have both macOS and Windows installed, you can boot between them whenever you like.

The only reason to delete Windows partition afterward is to reclaim disk space for macOS. Boot Camp Assistant.app can remove the Windows partition if you decide you don't want to use Windows ever again.

Thanks. Alternatively I tried Parallels Desktop & it seems to work. I deleted it but not sure if there are other files to delete.

Yes. Boot Camp didn't work well for me and it was easy for me to remove it and have the space reclaimed.
