I have been running boot 1.1.2 beta for the last 45 days or so with basically no problems - as far as I am concerned, I am running a PC..
the only real "issue" I have found is related to disk defgragmentation.. my current bootcamp partition is 32gb FAT32..
here are the problems:
[1] the built in Windows disk defrag utility goes SUPER slow - even if it finishes (8+ hours or more later), it doesn't actually defrag all the files - AND IT IS REALLY REALLY SLOW
[2] if I install and run Diskeeper, it won't work to say the least (all my production Dell boxes run Diskeeper and we really like it as it seems to be the best of breed product on the market) - by the way, all my Dell boxes are using NTFS, not FAT32
has anyone else out there had any similar experiences?? are there any work arounds?? what is the best way to defrag the bootcamp partition?? has anyone tried PerfectDisk from Raxco??
thanks for all the help in advance..
