I run my 2009 Mini as much in Bootcamp (Windows XP, MS Office) as I do in MAC mode. Recently, after installing Lavasoft AV software and surfing brokerage websites for awhile, I got the famous blue screen of death. I could reboot to MAC with no hint of the blue screen, but rebooting to Bootcamp would result in the blue screen (sometimes in minutes and sometimes in an hour or two). I've since uninstalled Lavasoft AV and did a restore to a month previous. It worked better for awhile. Feeling naked, I installed AVG AV, with the same blue screen result. I had previously been running Microsoft Essentials AV ... pretty average AV but no blue screen. I'll try uninstalling AVG AV and going back to MSE. Do I have a hardware or software problem? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

If it ain't Baroque, don't fix it.

Bootcamp Blue Screen

Thanks for the suggestion. I fear that Windows folks won't understand whether I have a Windows software problem or a MAC hardware problem.
