Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing some issues with Boot Camp on my 2018 MacBook Pro running macOS Sonoma. I've installed Windows 10 Pro x64 using the official Boot Camp method. Initially, I had the option to switch between the Touch Bar's F1-F12 keys and special function keys (brightness, volume, etc.). However, after a few Boot Camp updates, only the startup disk and display options remain. Interestingly, my friend with a 2019 MacBook Pro has all the proper tabs available.
I've tried different Windows 10 builds, including the latest official MSDN release, but the problem persists. I've searched online for solutions, but they seem overly complicated, often involving reinstalling Windows 10 without Boot Camp and manually installing Boot Camp software.
Does anyone know what's going on or how to fix this issue? I can’t understand how Apple could have made such a simple task so complicated.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice!
