I recently got a copy of Windows Vista Ultimate, and I used boot camp to install it. The installation was ok, but once it finished, and Vista got ready to start up on its own, without the disc, a black screen popped up saying that the partition is not recognized. But installation had no problems! What is wrong with Vista and bootcamp?!

Try making the partition again and reinstalling. Bootcamp is still a beta remember. :)

I used bootcamp to install a 78 GB NTFS parition of a fully legal version of Vista Ultimate. The installation works greatly, but once Vista starts on its own, like after all install processes are complete, it states that the partition Vista is under is unrecongnizable.
