Hi,

Apologies if this has been asked many time before but...

Just got my new MBP and there aren't enough smileys in the world to express how overjoyed I am with it's shiny aluminium-clad performance!
Anyways, loaded bootcamp & XP and haven't stopped playing BF2/bioshock since but am wondering whether it's worth while looking into loading new drivers for te 8600??
I'm not particularly well-versed but I gather the one's that come with bootcamp aren't the best and there are others (GT)? that are better..

If anyone can shed any light on this then it would be much appreciated!

Thanks muchly..

oh, and while i'm here anyone know of a library that can offer write access to NTFS from OS/X as FAT32 sucks balls :)

Download the v163.44 drivers for XP 32-bit (assuming that's the OS you have for boot camp). These are the beta drivers specifically made for Bioshock. Make sure you download and add in the modded INF file as well, or you won't be able to install it. Follow the directions from the website.

An easy way to write to NTFS from OSX would be using MacFuse and NTFS-3g.
Go here: http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/ to download and install macfuse
and www.ntfs-3g.com to install ntfs-3g.

I used the new bootcamp 1.4, released 31 Aug. No improvement when I test on COH. No driver donwnload on nvidia website.

By the way, how the graphics go on Bioshocks? What setting you use?
