Yes, as you only install the drivers after you have finished installing Windows. But you might as well burn the updated drivers, newer is (almost) always better.

Wait so what do the drivers do? Is that why I can't connect to the internet? I wasn't prompted for it so I didn't load the disc.

UPDATE
Nevermind it was. I totally forgot about it. Everything is working nicely now.

New Boot Camp With Old Drivers Disc

You need to create and use a new drivers disc when you install the new Boot Camp. Yes the old one will work, but not nearly as well. The new Boot Camp creates a new driver disc that has updated drivers (bug fixes, etc. included) so be sure to use the newer disc for best results.

I cannot make a drivers CD

I've tried to make a drivers disc via Bootcamp but I just cannot see any option to make one ... do I have to reinstall windows in order to find the right dialogue?

Is there a shortcut method to creating a drivers cd?

yeah - i'd like the answer to this one too.

I am trying to make a custom CD with all my downloaded apps, utils, and drivers I need after a fresh Boot Camp Windows install.

I'd rather not have to carry my Leopard Upgrade DVD with me.

Is there a way to put an .exe, .msi, or a drag folder that represents all these drivers onto this custom CD?

When I browse my Leopard DVD - I don't see any Windows-related items even from Terminal

I was having problems with some of my old drivers as well. I downloaded a zip file that contained the new drivers and all is well again.

Here is a question or two: have there been no Boot Camp updates since Leopard? Where would I tune in to stay up to date?

None that I have seen.

If you installed all the software on the Windows side, then you should have the Apple Software Updater application which I would assume will notify you when updates are available. On the mac side, I would also assume software update will take care of Boot Camp Assistant.
