I recently acquired a flashed Sapphire 7950 for my 1,1 Mac Pro. It works great with no issues on the Mavericks modified OS.

When booting into Windows though, I get a black screen. I reinstalled my 5770, which works fine, and tried to download the most current version of catalyst for the 7000 series. It gave me an error at the end that the driver for my device could not be found. I am assuming it is because it sees the 5770. Still, just a black screen for the 9750. I do hear the Windows chime, so I know it is booting into it.

I am very Windows ignorant and am hoping someone here could lend a suggestion. Obviously if I can't see anything, I cannot install the driver with the 7950 installed.

I am running Windows 7-32bit. AMDs site listed that as supported, but does the 9750 require 64 bit system?

Thanks.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I heard though that the switch is just for it to acknowledge the machine. Once you set it, it should work on both systems.
