Bootcamp HELP Needed

I have got a 2.16GHz Core 2 Duo MBP running Leapard and I have been trying to install Windows XP Professional using bootcamp but everytime I try, after the initial part of the Windows Installation, when the computer reboots, I get 'disk error' and it won't boot unless I take the Windows CD out (at which point it boots in to Leapard as normal).

Any suggestions?
