BootCamp installation help

Okay so I tried to install windows xp on my MacBook, but I can't partition my harddrive. BootCamp assistant gives me an error saying that my disk could not be partitioned and that I will have to repair it via Disk Utility.

So I pulled out my leopard installation disk and did the whole "hold c key" while the computer boots up. I then repaired the disk, and then verified it to make sure nothing was wrong. To my surprise - it said nothing was wrong.

But then when I try and partition it, it still doesn't work! I get these errors when
I verify my hard disk:

"Volume Header needs minor repair"

Can someone please help me with this?

It means your disk is partially corrupted; you need to either use Disk Utility and do the repair, but you said you already did that. My question is did you repair disk permission or repair disk the first time?

Otherwise you will need to buy a software called Drive Genius or Disk Warrior which is more robust. I'm not sure, but I'm sure Apple Genius could perform this for you as well since they run Drive Genius.

Of course the final method you can do is back up everything and reformat the HDD.

Okay, I tried the "fsck" command in single-user-mode, and that seems to have helped. Whenever I verify my hard drive it says everything is working fine.

However, now I get the error "Some files could not be moved" while partitioning, which I guess means my HD is fragmented. Should I give iDefrag a go or are there other options?
