After installing the latest Bootcamp and XP (and later Vista) on my Mac Pro I get no sound through my external speakers in Windows. Everything works ok, except sound, is goes through the internal speaker  which is no option for me when gaming. Everything is up to date, Windows, Apple drivers, Bootcamp, EFI.

probably just set up wrong in the settings. Go into the sound properties in control panel and see if theres another option for the audio playback etc.

When you say 'everything is OK', have you tried something else involving the chipset drivers, like ethernet?

As a temporary solution I use the headphone jack, and everything works just fine(thought is doesnt look really good). Must be a driver issue( ie: no driver writen for that port to work)
