I'm thinking about switching to Mac. What problems/irregularities (compared to running a Windows native PC) would I face when I run Windows on a MB? play Windows-based MMORPG (ex: maplestory) in bootcamp?
Oh cool, you know MapleStory. I'm afraid not many knows. But yea, I'm hoping MapleStory can be played on Windows (it's just the fact that the lazy people at PayPal isn't FireFox compatible) using BootCamp or else I'd be paying $200 just to view IE websites and some other stuff.Eidorian said:I surprised you can't run Maple Story via a virtual machine...
Lol I was afraid someone would say that. I'm still uncertain on the benefits of paying so much for so little potential.n-abounds said:Pros: Runs Windows

Boot camp is a partitioning program. You then install windows onto that free partition. So when running windows in this way, it is running natively. It will be exactly the same as running windows on a non-apple PC of the same spec.
Exactly what I was gonna say.Pros: Runs Windows
Cons: Runs Windows
Pro - runs windows as good as, if not faster, than a quality PC Laptop
Con - you can only boot into a single OS. For my needs, I like Parallels, but I'm not doing any gaming.
