Bootcamp Restore Issue

So I tried using Bootcamp Assistant to get rid of my Windows 7 partition I set up awhile ago. I allocated 150gb of my 750gb SSD to it. But when I went through the removal process I got:

Your disk could not be restored to a single partition.

An error occurred while restoring the disk to a single partition.

What sucks though is that my Boot Camp partition is gone, but the 150gb of space it used to take up wasn't restored to my OSX partition. So I've just lost 150gb of space which I'm really not happy about. How do I fix this?

What do you see in Disk Utility for that drive?

Type "diskutil cs list" (without the quotes) in Terminal and post up the output.

All I got from Terminal was this:

No CoreStorage logical volume groups found

When I go into disk utility, it doesn't show a partition/disk image for Windows. Just OSX.

Also, I'm freeing up some SSD space so I can make a time machine backup (my external HDD I use for backups is only 500gb so I have to put some files onto other smaller HDDs) and I freed up 30gb of space. After I deleted those files from my SSD and emptied my trash can, the extra 30gb of space showed at the space indicator on that bottom bar of Finder as usual. It went from 60gb to 90 gb of free space to be specific. But, when I go into Disk Utility to see how much free space I have on my drive it still only shows 60gb. So the 30gb of room I freed up shows up in Finder but not in Disk Utility. What gives?

If you have Time Machine turned on, it creates local backup files that cause a difference between size in Finder vs. Disk Util. You can read about it here.

As for the Macintosh HD partition, it doesn't fill the whole thing box. *Facepalm* I guess I'll resize it to fill the whole thing. Will resizing the partition delete all my stuff?

Yep... that list command shows you have unallocated space on the drive. Just drag it down and click apply and it will expand into the space without deleting your data. Backup first if you can though just to be safe.
