Hi

Bootcamp requires a separate partition so it would either be FAT32 or NTFS. I would like to know if it's possible to transfer files between OS X and windows in either operating system.

Thanks

The Mac can read and write to the FAT32 volume and read from the NTFS volume. The PC partition cannot see the Mac volume at all without using a third-party utility such as MacDrive.

I formatted as FAT32 and it's working well. I use a USB thumb drive to move files from the PC volume to Mac if need be. Cheaper than buying a program.

Beat to the punch by a faster typist ;-)

I have my Windows in NTFS, and you can't transfer things to the partition, only take. I use my iBook as a hub between the two, so if I need to transfer a reasonable file, I just put it to my iBook and restart in Windows and access it that way.

I'd recommend using MacDrive, granted the price is outragous, but programmers gotta eat too!
